March 2014 BOM - Influential Person
Not sure I am happy with this....I wanted it to be funny, but it took a more serious route. I may tweak it some.
Journal reads:
My dad used the ways of the farm to often make a point as it related to real life. Although I didn't always get it at the time, I do now.
Say what you mean and mean what you say (.and he did).
Honesty is always the best answer (don't let me catch you in a lie).
Your credit is as important as money itself (pay your debt).
Don't count your chicks until they hatch (don't spend what you don't have).
Be careful which bridges you burn (you might need that friend someday).
Don't make a promise you can't keep (keep your word).
There are good and bad traits in all breeds (don't discriminate).
Never leave a gate unlatched (finish what you start).
Don't jump off a cliff just because your friends do (don't follow your friends into trouble).
A hungry animal is a hungry kid (be thankful for the animals and take care of them)
