2014, Scotland, Robroyston, Wallace

On March 16, we took a wee trip down the road (about 10 mins) to see the cross which marks the spot where MacGregor house once stood and Wallace's well - this area is where he was betrayed by a friend to the English - his last moments being a free man were spent only a couple miles from my home. I wonder what the man who died for freedom would think of an independence Referendum - we already have freedom - is it worth the risk - he thought it was worth his life.
