Give a Cheer
It's fabric and trim week in class with May. I used some scrap pieces to make the ruffle accents. This is a cover page for an album I am making for my parents about a little studio they recently built in their backyard. Fabric week was perfect as the “burlap” type scrap included is also used in the litte studio house - that they have named “The Beehive.” I picked up a Maya Road bee stamp to use throughout the album for some continuity and for the cover page, I stamped it on acetate and stitched the 3 images in a column down the side.
