I experimented with using a colour palette chart for my colour choices on this LO. The sunburst is misted vellum and a mist-painted doily, sewn onto slightly patterned paper. The rays are a combination of texture paste, gold sequins and mist spatter. The water is a collection of turquoise stripes in an ombre effect, sewing thread and mist spatters. I really pushed myself to go overboard beyond what I normally would for the spatters, sequins and pearls to really emphasise that feeling of excess sun and joy.
