Hi Peas! Welcome to another video of the weekly IN THE MOOD TO SCRAP series! It's a cool idea where a garden girl creates a mood-board and based on it, creates a scrapbook page. I am going to show (and explain) to you how this layout, which is based on a Pinterest moodboard, came together! You'll find a new lesson in this series in the Videos section of Two Peas each Tuesday.Dreamcatchers are getting more and more popular in the scrapbooking world, Glitz Design already incorporated them in their new Wild & Free collection. So - why not create your own one?!Dreamcatchers are ment to change a person´s dreams, to keep the bad dreams away and let the positive ones come through.I do not only love the meaning of dreamcatchers, but also the way they look. The dreamcatcher in this layout is a) a decorative element and b) a symbol for me to let go of my fears regarding traveling - I am super afraid of flying!Here´s a bit about the products I chose:I stayed within the color scheme of the moodboard, but added a pink heart which is nearly the same color as the lines on the map seen on the photo.I used a white cardstock, a blue patterned paper by Amy Tangerine, mistable feathers by Studio Calico, spray from Heidi Swapp. Ocotber Afternoon and Studio Calico, stickers from Amy Tangerine and Studio Calico, tulle, thread, cardboard, twine, sequins, doily, penci, black pen, thickers by American Crafts, 3D foam dots by American Crafts, hot glue and a sewing machine.My challenge this week: Get inspired by the dreamcatchers seen on the moodboard. Transfer any aspect of it or the color scheme onto a scrapbooking page (or any other papercrafting project). Every month we will draw a winner from all the MOOD TO SCRAP entries and reward them with a $10 gc. It will be announced on the 2peas blog at the beginning of September.
