I found this shelf like thing at Goodwill for $2.99. I did not like the heart top piece but figured I could remove it. I thought if I turned it on it's side it would like a painter/artist tray. I removed the heart piece, and painted it black. I adhered the papers on only to find I had glued them to the wrong side:( I washed off the paper and modge podge and ended up with a distressed look that I actually love. I purposely used black and white photos from July 4th. I used various papers and embellies from the Sweetest thing collection.
