I wanted to make a pineapple border for the Broadway Bound and Black Magic challenge. I didn't have a stamp, so I made one (Pinterest to the rescue!) out of craft foam by drawing deep lines with pencil and mounting it on a block with double-sided tape. After stamping usng white ink, I colored the image with Prismacolor pencil.ETA: The pineapple border is for a number in the musical “Cabaret” - performed at DD's high school with my daughter as Fraulein Schneider. One of the songs was “It Couldn't Please Me More”, where the fruit-seller Herr Schultz romantically presents her with a pineapple. It was a darling number, and the pineapple holds a special place in my heart after that! This will be for her scrapbook page.
