Give a Cheer
I was inspired by the spool heart in ScrapbooksEtc. I knew I had old spools of my grandmothers and I had always wanted something to showcase the mini-albums I have done. So I found an old legal size clipboard and took my grandmothers old wooden spools. Because I liked the colored thread and it matched my papers, I used ModPodge on the thread to make it so it would not unwind. Then I used a glue gun to adhere them to the clipboard. I had already covered the clipboard with paper from the Year.O.Graphy Simple Stories collection. Small lengths of dowel filled in th spaces and I topped them and some of the spools with patterned paper from the same collection.
