I guess I'm what you'd call a sucker for stickers. I love them…and usually purchase them when they coordinate with a line I love. I also love my letter stickers - and when I find a style or color I like, I usually buy half a dozen sheets…I never want to run out! Stickers really can be so versatile and if you're willing to think out of the box, they could easily work to embellish a project in dozens of different, creative ways!On this layout I used several different types of stickers in a few different ways. First, the title. I am loving the multi-color alphabet stickers that coordinate with the new Pebbles line, Hip Hip Hooray! I chose to mix and match the colors even though I could have used a single color. I used a little music strip sticker from October afternoon below the title - sometimes a border sticker is the perfect way to differentiate between two items on a layout (like the title block and the photo). I also used some AC Mixtape along the top of the title block…does that count as a sticker? I think so…it is sticky after all! ;)I used some pennant stickers below the photo on the left. They are also from Pebbles, and actually come in a kit to make a banner. I chose to cut them in half and stick them directly onto my page. I placed the cute little clips on top of them and clipped another sticker over the flags.Square label stickers, cut in half diagonally, make great photo corners. Can you see the scalloped orange peeking out from behind the top right photo? It's actually a square label sticker from October Afternoon! The three stickers along the right side of my layout are actually added using one of my favorite techniques for stickers…I de-stickified them (by dusting baby powder on the back) and added them to my layout with pop-dots. I do this all the time and love the little bit of dimension it adds to my projects. Finally, I am in LOVE with the tiny alphabet stickers from Lilybee designs. I used them, along with circle label stickers from October Afternoon (cut in half) to add my son's name and the year. These two label stickers are added directly onto the photos. Thanks for peeking…and reading my novel about my love of stickers! :)
