“Y” is for “yellow.” I think yellow is one of the happiest colors…and I buy a LOT of yellow scrapbooking items - but for some reason I struggle with using them, so making a yellow project for the A to Z Stamping Event [twopeasinabucket.com]was the gentle shove I needed to actually use some fun yellowness on a project!I started with this sweet silhouette stamp from Technique Tuesday and stamped it with yellow (mustard) ink onto a white tag. Next, I used the same yellow ink to stamp the sentiment (from the same set) onto a sticker label.I recently purchased the new October Afternoon line pulled out the yellow gingham paper to use - I thought the color looked good and the pattern was subtle and non-feminine. I decided to accent my yellow card with gray. I added some stitching with yellow thread and yellow baker's twine to complete my yellow card. It makes me smile - I hope it makes you smile too! :)
