I don't know what I was thinking! I didn't think getting 2 kids ready for school would take so much more time so even though I was organized, we barely had time for breakfast, let alone pictures…might have had something to do with the mandatory hair-do! This sequence shows my dd heading off to kindergarten. Leaving the house, heading to the bus stop. Pics with her big brother entering 2nd grade. Lining up for the bus and the boys letting her go first. Getting on the bus. All good until we got to school and then nerves started to set in. There was chaos while they lined up for school and the buses were late because of some construction and the bell rang before anyone could get settled. You can tell she is nervous as she lines up to follow her class into the building. The last photo is the special rainbow cake I made for her to celebrate her first day. She told me it was the best day ever!!
