I borrowed this layout from a Creating Keepsakes publication, by Sherelle Christensen of ID. I loved the color scheme, although I substituted the blue for her green, and the green for her papersack brown. Oh, and I changed the theme of the page too. I'm all about customizing you know!
Anyway, this was my son's first cake.
The journaling reads:

Happy Birthday Son!
You hadn't had many "sweets" to this point, so I'm sure when that frosting hit your lips, you were hooked! It was hilarious watching you devour that cake.
