The original sketch was created by KathyShu for 9/2006 #3.The focal image is created with the Diamond Sparkle technique. Basically one stamps on the front of acetate; colors the back with glue and re-inker, adds some glitter and a wrinkles or stamps tissue paper background to finish the image. Photo#2 shows a close-up of the glitter daisy.Here I stamped the tissue with a background stamp ink with distress ink. Since distress ink wicks when wet it is not normally recommended for this technique. However in this situation the tiny wicked images provides a faux Bokeh effect. This is the technique photographers create by adjusting the camera's lens to renders out-of-focus points of light. Stampers have recently tried several different methods to achieve similiar results. This is my current version LOL!The same stamp was repeated to make the background. I was happy to use Doodlebug's plastic sequins as part of the design. I think my use of the sequins and the Bokeh elements creates a current spin on the use of this 7+ year old stretch. Heidi, thanks for the fun!
