My very best friends and I are fortunate enough to get together once every year or so, usually in a different city. This past June, we met up in Denver. We always have the best time laughing, talking, planning, and generally just enjoying being with one another. The base of this page is the ‘b’ side of a patterned paper from the Sassafras Starters [twopeasinabucket.com] collection. These papers are so wonderful. I love how neutral they are. They go with everything! I added some strips of patterned paper along 2 of the edges- inking some, punching some, tearing some. Then I machine stitched it all down.Photo 3 shows how I colored my American Crafts alpha to suit my page. I spritzed my Ink Blending tool [twopeasinabucket.com] with mist, then simply rubbed it over my alpha–so easy! I used 2 other alphas for my title-I outlined the word ‘Denver’ with a black pen to add a bit more contrast.I typed out several words for my 'journaling-using a variety of fonts and colors. I then cut out each word, rounded the corners, then inked the edges. Finally, I added a few other punched shapes to tie the page together. Thanks for looking! :)
