Our 8 hour layover in Milano, Italy. We were excited to arrive but we had several challenges. We couldn't find anyone that spoke English…so the kids and I slept on the hard tile floors in the main lobby until we were allowed to go to our gate. Once we were there we had another 2 hour delay due to fog in Venice…so our 8 hour layover turned into 10 hours and the kids just crashed in the lobby waiting for the plane to arrive. Sad part our new home was only a 3 hours drive from the airport!!! I wanted to choke my DH for making us sit there and wait that long! UGH!
