This is the card I made for my husband this year. He's old! Haha! You know what that means … I'm getting old too.The pressure is getting high. I made my mom a pop-up card for her bday a few weeks ago, so I felt like I should make one for my husband too. He likes to fly, thus the image on the front. The 4th and 5th pics show how I used two masks so I could distress the text border part of the image (that is all one stamp on the front). Afterwards, I thought “that was kind of dumb” it would have been a lot easier to color it with colored pencils like everything else! Oh well, I probably got a better distressed look with the ink. Here is what I used to make this card :Stamps: JustRite Going Places Vintage LabelsSU - inside sentimentInks: Ranger black Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Antique Linen, Wild Honey used on candle flamesColored Pencils:Prismacolor, blended with Global Art Materials Finesse colored pencil blender penPaper:Printed - My Minds Eye - Lost and Found Portabello RoadSolid - SU Vanilla, Canson cream, Bazzill (?
