Kimber, thank you for this sketch challenge. It got me into the craft room. Plus I have made four cards! This is my third attempt at the sketch. I already posted two designs that don't qualify. This one comes close to the sketch so here it is. I wish I had trimmed the sides of the focal image; it would have been even closer to the sketch.

CARD:
4 1/2“ x 6 1/2”
Bazzill cardstock

MAT:
Impression Obsession Petals
VeraFine Vingage Sepia (I think.)

SENTIMENT:
Michael Strong Stamp
Punch–EK Success

FOCAL IMAGE:
T.S.C. Designs stencil
140-lb. cold press watercolor paper
Stampin' Up! Ticket Corner Punch
Dreamweaver Matte Black Embossing Paste
Dreamweaver Crackle Paste
Kaleidacolor Inks (stenciled on top of the dried crackle paste)
Distress Ink (I think I used this for the brown. Not sure.)

EMBELLISHMENT:
Unknown jute-type ribbon for the border
Xyron (to attach the ribbon)

I put the jute through the Xyron and then used a paper piercer to clear it away from the openings. It worked, but there must be a better way to do this.

The SU Ticket Punch wouldn't punch through the watercolor paper (or regular paper either!) so I had to use scissors to complete the cutting. I have sharpened this punch dozens of times by punching through tin foil, but it still doesn't do a good job. It does best on regular cardstock. It won't work at all on the regular paper I use as inserts.

TFL. Daria
