I made these for Jan's Roll-On Watercolor Challenge and my Winter Holiday Cards in July Challenge offered on another site. Jan, I think I missed the deadline, but thanks for the incentive to get out my Kaleidacolor ink pads once again. I have several backgrounds ready to go now.

CARDS:
4 Ľ” x 5 ˝”
Cardstock: Bazzill; Gina K (Passionate Pink and Moonlit Fog)
Mats: various blacks; Neenah Classic Crest Solar White

FOCAL PIECES:
Judikins MatteKote cardstock
Kaleidiacolor Ink Pads—Denim; Fruitcake

Stampers Anonymous—Christmas Blueprint
Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad
Ranger's Clear Super Fine Embossing Powder
Uni-ball Signo Broad White Gel Pen

Following Jan's instructions for her challenge, I inked the brayer with the Kaleidacolor Ink Pad and misted it with water before applying it to the cardstock. I think I got a more subtle and smoother transition between the colors with the addition of the misted water. I used MatteKote cardstock. I found out the hard way that ink didn't dry quickly on this coated cardstock. That's why I ended up embossing it.
