A minute later a monkey jumped on Bill's head. I was nervous enough with the monkeys by now that I just wanted it off of him!
We then all walked to another part of Monkey Forest and found a place to sit down together. We were chatting when suddenly a monkey ran up, out of nowhere and bit the back of Nancy's hand. We couldn't tell how serious it was because we couldn't see the wound because of all the blood. Fortunately she was okay but by now we all just wanted to get away from this place and all the monkeys.
Ginni pulled a plastic bag out of her purse that holds her first aid kit to get some antibiotic cream for Nancy's hand when a monkey jumped on Ginni and stole her bag of medicines. The monkey got Benadryl, Aleve, Ambian and an assortment of prescription medicines. Bill was able to strike at the monkey's hand causing him to drop the bag and then Bill grabbed it. By then the monkey had chewed a hole in the plastic bag (right photo) so the contents went all over the ground. Bill tried to pick up the medicines but the monkey was very aggressive trying pick up the medicines first.
Bill used Ginni's cane to keep the monkey away so he could pick up her medicines. The monkey was really willing to fight for them but Bill got everything back for Ginni except for 3 Aleve tablets.
After that we left Monkey Forest as quickly as we could. We'd had enough monkey fun!
