My original inspiration for this card was sketch #5 from the August Card Sketch Challenge which happens to be a CAS design but somewhere along the way this crossed way beyond the clean and simple line, lol! I started by creating the shelves and adding the bottles and jar. I then decided to add the mad scientist. When I came across the periodic table I thought that would go well with my mad scientist along with a toothpick pointer. The patterned papers and stickers are from Doodlebug design's Boos and Brews collection. I added Nuvo glitter gloss to the shelves and outer matting to make them sparkle. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture it in the photo. There is a sweet not-so-little anymore boy that I think will love receiving this in the mail.
