I bought the Faber Castell stencils without noticing that they are made from paper until I went to use them. It was a pleasant surprise to see how well they held up to modeling paste and clean up. A great addition for the price!!
I mixed Memento ink with the white modeling paste as I did not have any other inks avalible to be at the time. The tag was completed once I got home.
The tag was coated with clear gesso first so the inks would not soak into the tag and change their color, then I used white stickles with a brush to spread it (it happend to be sitting on my desk and I did not want to hunt up a paint) then Oxide inks for blue and red which made it easy to spritz with water for added (flat) texture. The edges inked with whatever brown distress ink was handiest!!!
