My first card after a month of packing & moving. Trying to find a good place to take pics. For now this will do. Brandy, I said my first card I posted would be with the beautiful bird you sent me, but it just didn't look right with steampunk!:)
This card is for a dear friend who is like my son, the daddy of the girls I watch after school sometimes. He said I didn't need to make him a card, but in the next breath said, "I really do like your cards!" I used G45 papers, corrugated paper, DCWV burlap paper. The black strips were cut with decorative scissors & inked with Dew Drop Brilliance~Cosmic Copper. Added seed beads & the bug is from Michaels. The circle dies from Amazon & added copper metallic thread from Stampin'Up. The "celebrate" die is from my sweet LC, thank you so much! I cut it out of TH glassine paper. It felt good to craft today & I have so many cards to make! TFL & you sweet lovelies have a blessed week! Hugs~Marylou
