I took 2x4s and cut them into 4" tall blocks. I started with a base paper from the Simple Stories Front Porch Collection and then took 3" wood letters, painted them and attached to the base paper using foam squares. After that, I just added bits and pieces from various Front Porch collection products, in addition to hemp cord, antique corner embellishments, ribbons I had on hand and small Tim Holtz antique paper clips.
