Give a Cheer
I created an elegant St Patrick's Day card with a multicoloured stamped background and an ombré inked, diecut sentiment. I stamped the background with Kaleidacolor Ink in Caribbean Sea to get all those lovely ombré tones. Then I ink blended a panel of cardstock with Distress Oxide Inks, and splattered it with some shimmer sprays for a bit of sparkle and interest. I diecut the Shenanigans Word Die from Whimsy Stamps from the ombré inked panel and then diecut a shadow layer in silver vellum to add behind it. I did diecut some extra layers of the Shenanigans Word Die to layer up under the ink blended layer for dimension. I glued these layers together before adhering them over the vellum. I lost the tittle in my diecutting adventures, so replaced it with a little green star embellishment. I stamped the 'Bring on the' portion of the sentiment with VersaFine Clair ink in Spruce to complete the design.
