Give a Cheer
I upcycled a piece of driftwood into an enchanting wall hanging for Brutus Monroe. A Sea Nymph Creative Card is the focal point of this piece. I embellished the face with small shells, pearls, sequins, gems, and acrylic bubbles. I also added Sunshine Yellow Glitter Glaze across the nose and cheekbones for an extra pop of shimmer. Cosmo Glazes, Sand Pastes, and Shimmer Mists shift hues and sparkle like sunlight dancing through ocean waves giving the piece a fin-tastic finish. I also layered torn pieces of patterned paper and natural green and purple moss onto the wood for even more texture. I glued a large shell to the underside of the wood and added a loop of twine so that this piece can hang on the wall. I had an absolute blast creating off-the-page for this project!
