This is such a cute page! Love the girly paper (I even have some that I need to use up so thanks for the reminder) and the fun embellishments, especially the headphones and the hearts. Great way to remember this special day.

So Cool! Weekly Sketch Challenge

Here's my girl now! Cannot believe she's 10! Where did the time go?! She's very much a pre-teen with sass and personality and becoming her own person. For her 10th birthday this summer, most of her friends were out of town, so she asked to go to the mall, visit Sephora and have lunch at the revolving sushi restaurant. She also asked for an orca birthday cake (hope to make those pages soon too!).
We had wandered through Sephora (she spent her own birthday money on goodies), then took her (very patient) brother over to the Lego store. Then we went over to Target. On the way out of Target, we grabbed Starbucks and I snapped this pic of her looking WAY too cool and WAY too grown up with her shopping bags and her Starbucks! (It's a lemonade refresher). Her teenager brother lurks in the background. I didn't realize until after I got the photo that she was walking past Victoria's Secret! OOPS! *facepalm* A little sticker here and there covered that right up!

I made this one for the Weekly Sketch Challenge, Week 4 over at ACOT. Love how it turned out!
