I was given a Glimmer Hot Foil Machine for Christmas and I'm really enjoying exploring this new to me, medium. I've got some great results with my first try. After two fails, a little longer to heat the machine and a shim, my foiling came out perfectly. I love the way it foiled on the Spellbinders Chiffon Cardstock, so so pretty. I've used Deco-Foil Copper Hot Foil for this card and a lovely Hot Foil Plate from Whimsy Stamps. I kept the rest of the design very simple, with just a pretty scalloped edge to finish the card panel and some foam to pop up the panel from the A2 card base. A simple pink poppy wrapped in May Arts Ivory Twine completes the card. Simple but elegant.
