This is the second page of my daughter's latest book. It is pretty simple, but will give her a sense of her history. I printed the map from google images on antique looking card stock and used Microsoft drawing tools to make the arrows. I decided not to do a lot of journaling, becasue I like looking at the towns on the map and did not want to cover them up.
