This card is brilliant! My husband would love to be able to fossil hunt the UK Jurassic Coast. We have hunted fossils locally (Missouri), Texas, and Colorado some years ago. Absolutely love your creative card!

Fossil Hunter - Birthday Card

It is Jen's boyfriend's 50th birthday and he loves going to the UK Jurassic Coast to hunt for fossils. This inspired my card, I also used a few mini ammonites he found. Jen cleaned and polished them and covered them in a protective coating.

To make the card I used scrap papers and tore them into the shapes I wanted. I covered the "water" in translucent crackle paste for extra texture. The sun was die cut from a piece of card I used to brayer off acrylic paint. The edge has been distressed. I die cut the silhouette figure from more scrap paper and added the letters. To stick it to the card I used Pinflair glue gel which adds great 3D dimension.
