Patience required!! The thicker’s coordinate so beautifully with the rest of the American Crafts Baby Boy/Girl products that you won’t want to give them up. I cut the ones I want to use off of the main sheet. Then I turn it over so the backing side is up. It takes a bit of patience to remove the backing from the thicker. Using your fingernail, make sure you have all the layers of the backing. Keep the thicker face down on a solid surface and slowly pull the backing off of the thicker. If you do just the opposite and pull the thicker off the backing you’ll bend the thicker. If you peel the backing off the thicker, face down on a solid surface, in short increments it won’t bend. I’m making a 12 month photo album and can’t imagine making it without the thickers. The pages are highlighted by the thickers. Well worth the extra patience needed:)
HOWEVER, they all stick to the paper. When you try to remove them, it is hard not to bend the cardboard. I really think they're cute but hardly useful. I've never had this problem with any Thickers.
Update: Scrapbook.com came through with outstanding customer service. They were aware of the problem and contacted me. I could either get a refund or they'd ship me another set of the stickers. I chose to have another set sent because I really wanted to use these for a baby book I am doing. I was more than satisfied with their resolution.
