Questions & Answers
  • Happy Holidays, All!! I just saw these 'Matchbook' dies, and I am curious if the name has anything to do with a 'matchbook' of my youth, many, many decades ago!! Back then, a 'matchbook' was a very small cardboard folded up to hold about twenty matches, and the 'striker' which was always attached on the outside and back of the unit - so that it would never ignite any of the other 19 matches!! So...can someone please explain what 'matchbook' is now in 2021, please??1 Many thanks!!

    • Bonnie from AI has designed these matchbox stamps and dies that fold on a scene like the matches you are describing. They stand up when they are opened. They are really cute. I own several that I tuck them into cards. She has an instructional video on her site that takes you through the process. I hope this answers your questions By: Heldo (12-Dec-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
