Get started on your gift card holder with the Envelope Gift Card Holder Die Set by Art Impressions. The template die is used as a base to build any of the Gift Card Holder Die sets (sold separately). Included in the package are eight thin metal dies. The largest die measures 8" x 3" and the smallest die measures 0.75" x 0.75". This die set is made in the USA.
Everyone loves getting gift cards and what a more fun way to do it by being able to make it in a sleeve that matches the occasion or persons interest. This die cut well and went together easily. As the video shows you should add a little extra charm or cut out "like a star just as an example " to glue to the tip that you insert in the slot to help it stay closed.
This is a must. I use it is easy to use and I use it alot.

This is the perfect set of dies to have for making gift card holders all year long!
Love the envelope steel dies. Love the many options for this envelope. Santa ana Snowman for Christmas are so cute on this envelope.
The very first time I used this die with my big shot machine it bowed.
I have been crafting for many years and never had this happen.
I will probably give this away. Cuts fine. However the sides that normally go on outside have to go inside in order for it to match up, as the middle part buckles with sides on outside. Main flaw is the flap that is supposed to tuck into notch. It barely and I mean barely reaches the notch. Pops out if you put a gift card in. They should have moved notch up or longer flap. Not worth the money or hassle. I am disappointed as I love their stamps!
Update: when I posted this review the video in description was not available. I did not realize you needed to add something to the flap to get it to stay in notch. I wanted this as a stand alone gift card holder. I prefer not to add something to the flap, but if others wish to do that, then this die will be ok for them. I still plan to give it away.
