I love this new crafting tool. No more magnets that get stuck together or break. The sticky mat hugs your cardstock just the right amount to keep it from moving. It's new to me. I saw how it worked and needed a change from my other platform. I believe I will enjoy it as I make good use of it.
The only difficult thing for me is It's so clear I cannot see the edges to arrange it properly with ease.
Looks and feels cheap the plastic bands too easily. It is too fragile for me.

I just got this recently and used Rangers water color paper with the smooth side down and it wouldnt stay down but kept curling up. Would the ultra sticky mat help or is it the type of paper? Just curious, thanks so much!

Is there supposed to be a right and a wrong side to the flip plate? I am a new Stampwheel user and the plate doesn't drop into position on all edges simultaneously, I have to use extra pressure on two corners to get the plate to pop into position, resulting in double stamping. I turned the plate over, and it goes smoothly in on all sides. I don't think that is expected behavior that it works differently when you use different sides of the plate?

Hello. You can stamp with both sides of the the Stampwheel. To lay it down on the base without double stamping, please start with the bottom two indentations in place and then ease it down towards the top. Here is a helpful video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1sxm0gf88s

You absolutely can use the Stampwheels for red rubber stamps. (Obviously not if they are wood-mounted.) If you have the red rubber stamps with the foam grip on the back, you just remove the photopolymer sticky mat from the base. But then you need the slim grip sticky mat to hold your paper in place. There is a translucent one and a black one - depends on what you like. You only need one of them. And, the slim mat is very thin. You can actually leave it in the base and put the photopolymer sticky mat on top of it when you're using photopolymer stamps.
