Craft up a pocketful of posies with the Garden Picks 3D Die set by Altenew. The package includes 22 thin metal dies featuring 3 layers to each flower and 2 layers to each leaf. The dies are compatible with most die cutting machines (sold separately).
I think the idea of layer dies is wonderful. The effect will be different from other types of floral design. I am a florist and use lots of flowers in my card and scrapbooking designs, so variety is a good thing. However, I am not an engineer and it took me hours to decide how the pieces fit. I didn't find any tips or instructions in the package OR online. After I finally experimented I got it, but the pieces are not labeled and the fit is unusual. I will use them and want more styles, but beware the assembly is not easy.
I bought 3 of their dies and am only happy with this one as the parts of the flower are individualy put on 1 die, not a few parts on 1 die. This way you can use many different colored papers for the different parts and have a beautiuuful flower. The other I bought you have to use white paper and paint it to get a watercolor pretty flower.
THe price on the 2 types is the same so I gues they wanted to make mopre money by putting more parts on 1 die. Too bad.
