This package of Low Tide Embellishments is part of the Treasure Box Collection from Buttons Galore and More. This package includes 100 buttons with a pearlized finish in a flower-shaped box. There are various sizes and shapes of buttons. The 7" box comes with seven different sizes of compartments that can be reused for embellishments once the buttons are gone. These buttons come in shades of blue and feature both shank and sew-through buttons. There are starfish and seashell buttons included. These buttons can be sewn or glued onto most surfaces. They can be used on hats, gloves, purses, backpacks, apparel, paper crafting projects, cell phone cases, Crocs, and more. The shanks can be removed with the Professional Craft Cutter (sold separately), also from Buttons Galore and More, to create a flat back embellishment. These buttons range in size from 0.375" to 0.875" and are made from durable polyester plastic that is colorfast.
I was so excited about this collection of buttons. I was interested in it more for the unique and 'different' buttons. However, I just received the collection today and was very disappointed. There were only 2 gold starfish, 2 gold shells, 2 sand dollars and a few 'unique' buttons that had some sort of design on them or were shiny/glittery ones. The rest were common/standard buttons....which I have MORE than enough of. I did expect some of the common/standard buttons, but I did NOT expect them to be the large majority of them. The 'unique' buttons are really cool and I love them, but were just too minimal (the 'unique' buttons didn't quite fill 3 of the 7 sections of the storage tray). So, next time, would just buy a couple packs of 'specific' buttons that I want so not getting 'stuck' with more 'common' buttons. Was just hoping there would have been a nice variety, and QUANTITY, of the unique buttons. Not just a few of them thrown in to a standard mix.
I would not recommend this collection IF you are looking for more unique buttons. HOWEVER, I WOULD recommend this collection if you are simply looking for various buttons in the same color family. They DO coordinate nicely.
