I purchased this machine June 28, 2022. I did not receive it till around the 2nd week of August. Any way. it weighs 53 lbs and it was hard for even my husband to get a good hold on it to unbox it. Got it all set up in my new craft room, ready to go, and remembered I needed to register it. Well, hubby was at work, so I made the bad mistake of thinking I could easily turn it up a little and get the s/n. I was oh so careful, but as I was lifting it up, I thought I heard a funny noise but did not notice anything when I finally got it lifted up enough to get the s/n off the bottom. I took a little break, and when I came back into the room, I noticed it had come apart on top of the machine where the seam is that holds it together. Needless to say, I am heart sick over this, and I am afraid I have ruined a brand-new machine that cost me $349 plus $51 shipping to my home. My husband unscrewed the two screws that was holding it together on that side, and we did get it closed back up pretty well, but I tried running a few discs through and it split back open again plus making a really loud noise. I just decided I have more than likely ruined my beautiful machine. May be on future machines that weigh so much, Crafters Companion might re-think placing the s/n number someplace other than the bottom. I have 2 emails into them asking about repairs, but so far, they have not gotten back with me yet. I'm heartbroken!
This Gemini Pro is exactly that! Made for a PRO! This machine is large and extremely heavy. In comparison to other electronic die cutting machines I use, I feel it is a bit loud. The clean slim design is good because it requires a significant amount of counter space and you won't be moving it around due to the weight. For my card making, I feel I over-purchased with this machine, however I intend to use it and enjoy! I love the idea of a 12x12 cutter, I just don't know how necessary it is for most of us crafters with stamps and dies.
I can not recommend a product that isn't being manufactured any longer. I can however recommend the Gemini, infact, I gave one to a friend to get her started. I love everything pertaining to Gemini.

I love this die cutter machine. Any project i have fits the 12 x 12 plates and it does a great job.
This is a Christmas gift for a crafty person.
Very easy to use. A quantity of dies can be cut at once. Relief to your wrists & shoulders for sure.
I have my trusty Sizzix Big Shot but I wanted to upgrade to the Big Shot Switch plus. I was happy with it, except the platform and cutting pads were causing pain in my wrists because of the weight. I bought the Gina K dial cutting machine and was very satisfied with it, but I missed the electric feature the Big shot switch had.
I had been wanting a Gemini machine for a long time, but could never find one at a decent price. And then came the sale for the Gemini pro. I was ecstatic to get it in the mail and get it out of the box and start cutting till my little hearts content.
Following the directions exactly resulted in warped plastic and magnetic shims. I have been able to determine from a help site that perhaps the machine is calibrated too tight. I don't know if I should keep buying new plastic shims, or just wait till they determine how to make adjustments and manufacture the plates and shims to be stronger and more durable.
Any advise?
While it works fine…I had a hard time picking it up beats so heavy…I had to find someone to place it in my craft room.

Hello, yes, this machine is compatible with the power requirements in the United States and Canada. Although we currently do not sell the 12 x 12 cutting plates, other plate sizes are compatible with this machine from Crafter's Companion, like the 9" x 12.5" or smaller options.

Hello. Most machines are compatible with most embossing folders. This machine includes a rubber embossing mat for use with embossing folders and a comprehensive instruction booklet that will guide you through the plate combinations you need for your different dies and embossing folders.

Why can�t you get 12x12 replacement magnetic shims & metal cutting plates? I�d like to purchase extras
I had to buy direct from crafters companion, to get my replacement 12x12’s.
