The pad came very juicy and I got right to using it. Love the easy cleanup from dye inks.
I have not used the pad yet. I am sure it will be satisfactory as are all products I have ordered from this site.

Is it waterproof and can you color with markers?

Hello. Yes, once completely dry and heat set, dye ink can generally be colored over with alcohol markers.
