How did I ever fussy cut or trim or outline anything before i got this mat? No wonder I was so frustrated before. This mat is great. I got some shaped chipboard albums a few weeks ago and having this mat made the difference of raggedy edges and the smooth ones I got with the mat and a x-acto knife. Incredibly easy and I'm not that coordinated. You must have one of these if you use chipboard shapes or letters or print out your own titles on the computer. It's awesome!

This is a great cutting mat! I love that it has the easy to follow grid, and the feet that keep it in place. I use it with my circle cutter and my fiskars shape express! This is always on my table!

I really love this glass mat. It is easy to clean and really tough. It also has handy gridlines to help line up things and to measure with.
Nice sturdy mat and the gridlines are great for cutting. I wish I had something to put underneath it for light because it would be easier to see the grid while cutting. Also I like the fact that the box has a handle so you can use it as a carrying case.
I just received this for my anniversary, and while it's usually scary when my husband goes off on a whim and buys me something, this time he hit the jackpot. This mat makes all my cuts smooth and perfect. He heard my complaints about the raggedy looking cuts I got when using a self healing mat. With this I will never go back. Works perfect with the curvy cutter he bought me.
I bought the circle cutter and the realized later that I needed a glass surface to use the circle cutter to the best of its ability. The only negative thing is that I wish they made a package deal. For example: Circle cutter templet, glass mat, and curvy cutter blade. I would have bought the whole package.
I love this mat. I thought I just didn't have the skill or ability to cut well, but the glass mat is a MUST for good cutting. If you need the paper to stay in place, simply put down repositionable adhesive and do you work. When you're done, the adhesive simply rolls or washes off. It seemed like a waste of money at first, but worth every penny to me.
