Because this die is so intricate, it is recommended by the manufacturer that you pass it through your machine once, rotate it 90 degrees, and pass it through your machine again. You will need a tool (sold separately) to cut the snowflakes out of the backdrop. This backdrop fits a standard-size card but can also be used on scrapbook pages, journal and planner pages, and other paper crafting and mixed media projects. The backdrop measures 4.25" x 5.5", the large snowflake measures 2.375" x 2.5", the medium snowflake measures 1.375" x 1.375", and the small snowflake measures 0.875" x 0.875". This die set is made in the USA.
It is a very pretty die and it is going to make a very pretty Christmas card.
The snowflakes on this die are SO pretty - the tiny one is actually four little baby flakes and I liked that so much. They pop out easily from the die cutting machine, not a lot of punching out of paper.
The frame part is just gorgeous and cut out easily as well - even with metallic paper.
