These are high quality, raised, glossy round brads with a silver metal ring around the raised area (this doesn't show up in the website photo.) I really love the look of these - the colors are spot on for a retro-themed project. The raised, round brads range from 1/2" (see lower right-hand dots in picture) to slightly over 3/4" ('Take a Hike' and flowers brads.) I'm kind of sorry I didn't order more of these, they are so well-made.
