I love the detail in these images. They are small enough to be used on cards (especially the bird, smaller flower, and quote), but would work well on scrapbook layouts as well. The bird especially has a "crackled" appearance, typical of Tim Holtz's more aged look on his products. They stamp well, too, and the detail really comes out, especially with a lighter application of ink. (Like any stamp, if you put too much ink on, the details won't be revealed.) I have used a Colorbox Archival Dye Ink pad, with great success. I don't think I would recommend a pigment ink pad, simply because it tends to coat the stamp with more ink. Overall I am highly satisfied.
These are a very pretty design and still deciding if I am going to keep them due to budget constraints. The bummer is by the time you pay for shipping to return them you may as well keep them. lol
I love Tim Holtz! This is something I really am excited to own! I can think of many ways to use it. It is just so perfect for cards, tags, or pages!!
