Add texture and interest to pages, cards, and more with Layering Stencils from Tim Holtz for Stampers Anonymous. Use the Speckles Layering Template with mists, pastes, inks, paints, and more. The stencil is approximately 4" x 8 1/2". It has a hole punched in the top, allowing it to be stored on a book ring. This stencil is made in the USA.
I really like using a stencil like this to add "random" speckles to a project, while being able to control where they are placed. Since I make cards as well as tags, I'd actually prefer a 6x6 size, which is the only reason I didn't rate it five stars.
This is a great stencil. Just what I wanted to make my project look great. I use this mainly with paste or medium rather than paint but it works well with all.
I am fairly new to mix media and is stil experimenting, this stencil is so versatile that you can use it on almost any project. It looks stunning with gold texture paste. A must have item for sure!
I love the pattern however the holes are very small and do not let all the ink through.
Beautiful stencil. Wonderful detail.
I don’t feel confident making ink flecks with a paintbrush, but had a project requiring spatters on a card background. This stencil is ideal for that!
This stencil is perfect to add just a little or a lot of splatters,/speckles with our with out texture. So versatile. I love it!
I love this type of stencil. I will probably use this one first as I love the look of it behind images. Awesome stencil.
I plan to use this with the greeting cards I make but I also plan to use this to glaze pottery that I hand make. It should make for a very interesting pattern on the flat pieces that I make.
All of Tim Holtz's products by Stampers Anonymous are of great quality. Add that extra little something to projects. Works very well with Distress Inks, Distress Oxide, products as versatile with many other products used in the mix media world as well.
