Just what I need for all those intricate die cuts!
This is my first time using a glue pen. The first one I received didn’t work at all. SBC replaced it and it worked but found it hard to control since you have to press and squeeze at the same time. Maybe it’s me, but I won’t buy this one again.
UPDATE: SBC made a change in the formula and sent me one. I am now praising their decision to make this change. The pen is as easy to use as an ink pen! I will be ordering more. Thank you SBC for your response to my concerns. Great company, great products, great people and great customer service!
I haven't used this pen yet, but I have seen it used in craft tutorials. It seems to be very precise and that is what I need for putting my die cuts together! Thank you! Blessings!!!
I bought 2 of these to use for Christmas cards and was very disappointed because scrapbook.com is a very good company. The first one I tried to use the tip didn’t flow and as much as I clicked the tip down never released the glue. The second one the tip flowed good but the glue that came out didn’t glue anything at all. I tried to shake the pen to make sure that the water and glue mixed inside the pen and that didn’t work either. So I have 2 pens that 1 doesn’t allow glue to come out and the other only releases water, I ended up switching the tips between the 2 pens to get one to work.
This is grea for those items ya cant use a tape runner on it works perfect Thank You good Stuff reasonable price and works perfect and fast shipping
No matter what I do (hold it straight up, squeeze, check to see if the tip is clogged), the glue doesn't come out--not even a little bit. That's an exaggeration; it came out once. But that's a far cry from what it was supposed to do. Not happy.

Can this be refilled with any liquid glue?

Hello. It is not recommended to mix glues, and each will vary in viscosity, so it will be best to stay with the original glue for best results.

Hello, we were able to take a further look at the glue pen and whether it is refillable. The pen is refillable. The cap needs to be turned clockwise to be unscrewed.

Hello, the glue pen has a spring-loaded pin and a precision tip that keeps it sealed when not in use. The pen must be depressed for glue to come out, so when it is not, this keeps it sealed, along with the lid of the pen.

Hello, thank you for asking. The glue in the pen is specially formulated for the pen. At this time, we do not carry a refill option. We do not have a good recommendation because we have not tested what other glues would work. We do know that the glue in the pen is watery thin. If you have a glue that you believe fits a similar description, you are more than welcome to try it, but please note that we do not know what the results may be.
