These are beautiful cut outs and I will use them a lot. However I did not realize the difference between when it says "Cutouts" die.
But they can be used same as regular dies - just cut out around the outside of the element.
I was thrilled with the detail and design of these three dies. They cut out sharply without any problem and look lovely alone or mixing them together. They are very unique and make a professional looking card design. I've had a lot of fun with these.
The detail is fantastic in this die! I recommend using a quick release paper with this die as it does take a while to get the paper from the die but worth it.
These die cuts make stunning card fronts so easy. I’ve gotten lots of ohh & aahs.

Quick release paper is a piece of paper that you add next to a die when die cutting. It is supposed to make your card stock release from the die easier. You would use it for more intricate dies that are harder to cut out. There are a number of different methods for releasing card stock from a die - such as using parchment paper that you can get in the grocery store. Run the die through your machine several times, rotating the plates to ensure that the pressure hits all over the die. You can also add a piece of scrap card stock to your cutting sandwich if needed to increase the pressure. Depending on your machine, the sandwich could be: Cutting Plate - Card Stock - Release Paper/Parchment - Die - Cutting Paper - Scrap Card Stock (if needed)
