This is a nice die set, with quite a few dies in this set, which will make it easy to cut out the images in the stamp set and will save me some time, as well. I bought the die set for this reason and the dies all seem to be very sturdy.
It's a cut apart die set, but the places where the pieces are connected have some good space between the dies to make cutting them apart easier to do and to smooth any sharp areas at the cutting points.
All you need is a small set of nippers to clean off the cut pieces and maybe a little file, which can be bought at many stores, online and maybe even here at S.com. I'll have to go look and see, but once you get a nipper and a file, you'll be all set for any of the connected die sets.
I'm completely happy with this purchase.
I totally love the die set of all, it makes it so easy to use & quick, I don't have alot of time to work on my cards but when I do retire I plan on using alot of them & hoping to sell in crafts markets in the summer. Love how the Gnome & the birthday cupcake turned out.
