Very cool looking old camera you had. Does it still work? I love old cameras. I have my grandfather's old camera from the 1960s. My grandmother kept it all these years and didn't throw it out after he died.
I spotted this layout and had to comment! I love it! I so wish I had a photo of the one my parents gave me when I was about 11. I know it was a Brownie Hawkeye but it never occurred to me to take a photo if IT! Anyway, I love your layout! Such a good idea!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! This totally rocks Kathy!!! Absolute perfect pp's for the photo of your 1st camera! $1.25? Unreal, huh? I was remembering the much lower price of groceries while shopping yesterday... made me feel old! Enjoy the weekend!!!
Wow How nice would it be to get a camera that cheap now....LOL wow I love the old times even though I was born in the 70tys ...It just seemed so innocent back then pure.....
This was my very first camera, given to me by my parents, I just don't remember how old I was at the time. I looked up the history of the (Baby Brownie Special) kodak camera. The years it was available was 1939-1954. I wasn't even born yet, so it made me begin to wonder was it brand new, or just new to me! It doesn't matter, I was excited to get it, I do remember that. The price when it came out was $ 1.25.
