Wow! Can't believe this...I've been playing with this same b/w ribbon on my lo tonight...I'm driving eyelets as I eavesdrop here...beautiful lo...of course!
I truly think the dollhouse and the teapot look great just the way they are!! If they were brighter I think they might have taken away from the beautiful photo. They blend in perfectly with the background paper. This LO looks so lovely. Love the elements that you used also. Fabulous job; love it!!!
This is a photo my sister sent me of our dad as a 1 yr. old baby, and my aunt Betty at 4.Taken in 1923 in Hollis L.I.What they were doing there, none of us have a clue,as they were from Philly!I'd never seen this photo before and am so thrilled to have it! I can't say that I'm pleased with this lo,though!I just couldn't seem to get it right!I cut out the dollhouse and teapot from Graphic 45 pp,the flip side of which is my background!I used a grungeboard b that I inked in many colors. The buttons on the string was from one of Gramma scrapper's lo's.She has such clever ideas!A Prima bird,a Jenni Bowlin bingo card, and a tiny catalog page of baby dolls.Lots of "b" things on this page!Believe me,that was not intentional.Kinda cool, though!I tried using flowers in this, but it just didn't look right to me!I tried to get the best pic I could, but the house and teapot are kinda washed out for some reason!Oh,well!Better luck next time, right? Thanks so much for looking!
