How wonderful the children experience nature with a positive attitude, also handling the creature so carefully. Me being a country kid...we were out in our back yard today and found an Eastern garter snake about 2' long with a mouth smaller than my little finger and a belly swollen 3 times it's size as it must have eaten a mole...Yeah on that one..snake is now my best buddy and he won't have to eat for a month! Got pics..will have to scrap it! :-)
