This one included a lot of firsts for me. First time embossing (blue paper), first time doodling (hearts and dots on background paper), first time creating a collage without a template, first time journaling around the edges. I started off knowing I wanted to use blue and beige in my color scheme and the coasters were the first thing I bought because they were 1/2 off. I then just went through my stash and found other things in these colors. That's how I ended up with the red. I liked the "love" tag with the heart so I ended up coloring in hearts on my embossing and then just added more red from there. I guess that's another first. This was the first time I used the Gallon, quart, pint method. :) It was a fun layout to do because I was completely creative on this one. No templates or sketches. I just went with it.
