So pretty - love your journaling! I was/am a SAHM too, and even though both my boys are grown and on their own - I still stay home (am so spoiled) and love it still!!!! :>D
Summer Days..."The days you look forward to." I spent my first 8 yrs as a SAHM struggling with the "job". Before having my oldest son, I worked full time at the same job for 11yrs, often times 6 days a week. I bought my own house, supported myself completely and was incredibly independent. After finally meeting Mr. Right and deciding to have children, I planned to return back to work when my baby was 6months. When he turned 6months I just couldn't deal with the thought of taking him to daycare or leaving him and my husband at night to work. I decided to make this my new job but was not enjoying it. SAHM is the hardest job I have ever done! I knew SAHM was a huge privilege, even so, I was embarrassed to no longer be making my own money or having my independence. It was only last summer that I finally realized what a great job I really had. I truly realized how lucky I am. I am a spoiled brat and am ashamed that I didn't feel more grateful from the very beginning. I am grateful now, I enjoy every day .I love my job! Thank you for taking a peek at my page. Update- I am excited to say that I was lucky enough to win 1st place w/this lo at the CK convention in Seattle in November 2009. I just (Jan. 2010) found out that I won. I am honored and thrilled!
